Christ at the Center
“For in Him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through him and for him” Colossians 1:15-16
Everything Bayside will strive to accomplish will centre around Christ. He will be the starting point of all endeavours and efforts. With Christ firmly fixed at the centre of the ministry, serving guests well will be an expression of love, not simply an obligation.
The Bible as our Guide
“All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work” 2 Timothy 3:16-17
The Bible is Gods captured word to us and carries the weight of His authority. We believe that God knows what is best for us and so His book will be the source of our wisdom, the source of our teachings and the guide for how we conduct ourselves.
Team Oriented Ministry
“Be completely humble and gentle, be patient, bearing with one another in love. Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace. There is one body and one Spirit just as you were called to one hope when you were called;” Ephesians 4: 2-4
We have been created to serve in community, together more can be accomplished. We are committed to partnering, supporting and valuing each and our local churches to further the Kingdom impact of Bayside.
Pursuit of Excellence

God’s reputation is on the line and so we cannot afford to settle for “good enough”. Having experienced his grace and love we will pursue excellence in all endeavours, giving our all for His names sake.

Godly leaders mature, discovering better and more effective ways of influencing the world around them. We are committed to growing, seeking out new and fresh ways of serving. We are committed to leading by example so that we can shape established and emerging leaders of the highest capacity.
Priorities
Reaching the lost
Camp and retreat ministries are one of the best tools our culture has for evangelism. As an organization it is our responsibility to use the assets and resources that we have to realize the full redemptive potential that we have to offer. God is at work, changing lives through camp and retreat experiences an we want to be a part of what He is doing.
Investing in emerging and established leaders
Camp is a place where young leaders have opportunities to grow in a supportive community. It can also be a place where experienced leaders are refreshed and renewed through retreat experiences. Our priority is to create experiences that encourage and foster growth in leadership.
Partnership with the local church
Camp and retreat experiences are a powerful tool, however we are but one piece of the body. In order to realize the full redemptive potential of Bayside our priority is to foster united partnerships with local church communities in order to further the impact of ministry in our region.
Sustainability through stewardship
The property and resources of Bayside are a blessing, and require Godly stewardship. Our priority is to build sustainable business models built on Biblical principles in order to see the redemptive potential of Bayside managed with integrity and responsibility.
Authentic welcoming relationships
We are committed to being a welcoming place for people of all walks of life. It is our priority to extend grace wherever possible in order to cultivate and maintain healthy relationships.
