Vision for the Future
A Campaign for Debt Elimination
God is using this property and these programs to write the story of His love in the lives of campers, guests and staff.
However the vision for this ongoing impact is in jeopardy. We cannot fully realize this vision without elimination of our long-term debt.
While our loan currently stands at $2,300,000, through a generous matching pledge from the ABF, significant lead gifts, and a stable operational budget, our current fundraising goal to eliminate the debt is $1,000,000.
The Opportunity
$1.1 million matching pledge!
Our loan holders, the Atlantic Baptist Foundation, have generously pledged to match all campaign donations dollar for dollar until December 31, 2026!
In addition, they have placed our loan on a 0% interest term until December 2031.
Since 1953, the heartbeat of Bayside Camp has been to guide campers and guests along their faith journey through the powerful environment of camps and retreats.
The Vision
We have seen first-hand how God builds faith, facilitates courage and raises up new leaders among our campers and guests as we serve our community.
Bayside has always been a place for campers and guests to discover the story of God’s love, to reconnect with the meaningful parts of life and to spend time in the great outdoors.
A debt free camp will give us a stable platform to guide campers and guests towards purposeful, resilient and faithful lives. Elimination of our debt will strengthen our ability grow thoughtfully and intentionally with the continuing mission to serve our community by sharing the story of God’s extravagant love.
